The Ohio State Buckeyes are the intercollegiate sports teams and of The Ohio State University. They are named for the state tree, the Ohio Buckeye (aesculus glabra). The Ohio State Buckeyes are members of both the NCAA and the Big Ten Conference, and are one of only four universities who have won a NCAA national championship in baseball and men’s basketball. They are most noted for their incredible football team, which is nearly undefeated every year. Most home games are held at stadiums easily accessible from OSU’s main campus.
