Franklin Park Conservatory

In the late 1800’s, the city of Columbus bought a large portion of land on the eastern side of the city center. This portion of land was soon transformed in to an incredible botanical garden, named The Franklin Park.

The Franklin Park Conservatory is home to art and nature based exhibitions which are available year-round, with additional special exhibits from time to time. One of the key elements of the conservatory is an antique Victorian style greenhouse known as the “Palm House”. If you plan to end your visit around dusk, you will be privileged to see a spectacular light show overtake this glass building as the sun sets.

Parking is free, and details regarding exhibitions and special events can be found on the Franklin Park Conservatory’s website. Admission is $12, and discounts are available for senior citizens, students, and children.
