Frank Fetch Park

Hidden on a small side street near the end of the historic German Village is a park that is truly one of Columbus’s best kept secrets. In 1962, a small plot of land was bought by the German Village Society, and the ramshackle house standing on it was subsequently demolished. The house was replaced by a charming German “Bier Garten” designed to mimic the 19th century social gardens found in Munich. Features include quaint brick walkways, fountains, gas lights, and beautiful flowers.

Upon stepping in to this small park, every visitor is quickly swept away to another world. The German Village Society regularly orchestrates small concerts and art showings in the park. A schedule of events can be found on their webpage. Metered parking is available along any of the streets neighboring the park.
