Ohio History Center

The Ohio Historical Society contains 58 historic sites and museums located in 40 counties. It is the largest single networks of historic sites in the United States. The headquarters of the Ohio Historical Society are located at the Ohio History Center near downtown Columbus.

The Ohio History Center includes a museum, archives, library, special exhibits and Ohio Village. The Ohio Village is a re-reacted mid-19th century Ohio town. Visitors can interact with costumed reenactors and play games from the period. Cell phone tours are available to all visitors.

The Ohio History Center also has special events and programs open to family and educators. In these activities and programs visitors can experience and enjoy a tour through history in vivid explanation and demonstration.
