The Ohio State Fair is the states fair that has been held in Columbus since 1874. The Ohio State Fair has what a typical fair has: lots of fried food and games. Its one of the states largest fairs and is located just outside of downtown Columbus. The fair brings many visitors due to the many popular bands that perform and the family oriented events. The fair also has camel rides, pig races and even nighttime fireworks. The fair usually lasts for about 10 days during the end of July and early August. The fair is located at the Ohio Expo Center in north downtown Columbus.
