Gallery Hop

Every first Saturday of the month, the Short North District of Columbus stays open late and invites visitors to tour the galleries and shop in the boutiques. The Short North is most notable for its old buildings with lit arches over the street. The area is spotted with local restaurants ranging from Jeni’s Ice Cream to Marcella’s , a high class Italian restaurant. Most shops are open 4 PM to 10 PM. Parking can be hard to find, but the alleys off of High Street usually have parallel parking meters or parking lots. This event can draw large crowds during warm months. While not as popular when cold Ohio winters strike, it is still a great place for adults or families.
